As most people know the prodigy himself, Bryce Harper, has arrived. In his first game Harper had a double and sac fly. Harper did not look out of place despite being only 19 years old. In my preview of the Nationals I predicted that Harper would eventually move to the big leagues and have an impact. The graduation of Harper from triple-a to the big leagues at such a young age does not come as a surprise to most people as Harper is the top prospect in baseball and the Nationals slugging leftfielder
Michael Morse is injured. Although Harper may struggle early, it is hard to imagine that he will not turn into one of the best outfielders in the league. The legend of Bryce Harper has just been added to as
he has been called up before the age of 20 and had immediate success. There is no doubt in my mind that at Harper's career will be fun to follow.
